Every piece in this collection begins its life as an Aspen series pot — shaped from a porcelain-stoneware blend, stretched from the inside out to open those signature crack patterns. When a piece doesn't survive the process whole, Lori doesn't let it go to waste. Instead, she transforms the fragments into something new: earrings and pendants that carry the same aspen-bark character in miniature, paired with glass and metal beads for texture and shine.
Each piece is mounted on stainless steel, hypoallergenic wires and bindings, so they're comfortable for sensitive ears and skin. Pendants hang from leather cords for an earthy, understated finish.
Because every piece begins as a one-of-a-kind pot, no two earrings or pendants are ever alike. Each is a small, unrepeatable expression — a second life for clay that started with one story and ended with another, made exclusively at MusicalMud Studios.
